A few things to know.

Ordering status
Digital artwork, unframed prints, and framed prints can be previewed in the map builder. Ordering availability is shown for each island and format before payment. Review your artwork and the final checkout total before paying.
Your custom artwork
You choose the places, spelling, dates, descriptions, and personal memories. Review every part of the full-size proof before ordering. Map data is generalized for decorative artwork and is not intended for navigation. Example memories are fictional demo text.
Prints & delivery
Physical prints are made to order by Prodigi. Choose an unframed fine art print or a classic wood frame in the builder. Digital orders include a high-resolution PNG for personal use, with a private download link after payment. The available size, destination, price, shipping charge, and applicable tax must be shown before payment. After our artwork check, supplier production typically takes 1–4 days. Carrier transit is additional and varies by product and destination. We do not guarantee an arrival date or offer rush delivery; contact us before ordering for a time-sensitive occasion.
Changes, damage & order problems
Contact us promptly to request a change or cancellation; changes may not be possible after production begins. For a damaged or incorrect print, email your order reference and photographs so we can arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. Personalized products are made to your approved artwork; change-of-mind returns are not generally offered. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Your information
Your in-progress design is saved in this browser on your device. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to open it. Save a design file if you want a separate backup. Clearing browser storage removes the local copy.
If you sign in and save a map, your email address, saved artwork, and sign-in information are stored using Supabase. Your maps are private to your account. Social sign-in is processed by your chosen provider. Optional news and offers require a separate opt-in, which you can turn off in My saved maps.
Place searches are sent to our place-search service and its geocoding provider. Avoid putting sensitive personal information into search queries or public-facing artwork. When you order, we share the artwork and information needed to process payment, produce the print, and deliver your order with the relevant service providers.
Optional writing assistance uses OpenAI. Research sends the selected place name and map location to find supporting public sources. When you request spelling review, the selected entry text is also sent to OpenAI. Public place facts and source links may be reused for other maps; personal memories are not stored in that shared fact library. AI responses are requested without application-side conversation storage. Usage controls keep a keyed hash of the request address; old usage records are removed during subsequent usage checks. Review proposed text and sources before applying a suggestion; you can keep or restore your own wording. Spelling flags do not automatically change any text.
We keep a simple, cookie-free count of print-shop page views; these count records do not include an IP address, browser identifier, or referrer. For email campaigns, links may also pass through a first-party redirect so we can count clicks, approximate time on the print shop, scroll depth, coupon use, and checkout progress. Those campaign records may store campaign identifiers, a hashed IP address when available, browser/referrer details, and bounded event details, but not your private map text or receipt-access token.
With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel to measure visits, product views, checkout starts and purchases and to help show relevant ads. This may share technical browser information, the island and edition viewed, and purchase value and currency with Meta. Advertising cookies are off until you choose Allow. Choose Advertising privacy to change your choice; Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep this tracking off. Declining does not affect shopping. We do not include your personal map text, chosen private places or receipt-access token in advertising events. If you email us, we use your message to answer your request. We do not sell your personal memories or add you to a marketing list just because you use the builder.
To request access to or deletion of information you have sent us, contact the email above. Some transaction records may need to be retained for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
